This Laptop is created towards crowds looking for a light productivity machine like XPS 15 or HP Spectre x360 15 with H series CPU and excel in many areas than those options which costs several hundred dollars more than this. The only omission here is the Thunderbolt 3 port. Lisa from Mobiletechreview and Notebookcheck have reviewed this Laptop and confirmed that it is really a great Laptop for the price, exceeding the costlier options in many areas.
MobiletechReview Link [youtube.com](i7-10750H 6 Core):

Notebookcheck review Link [notebookcheck.net]: (i7-10750H 6 Core):

It has two full user upgradable Ram slots and you can go up to 64GB. Also it has two M.2 NVMe Slot so that you can expand the storage without replacing the existing drive. The Build Quality of this Laptop is excellent with full metal construct, almost no flex in the display lid or in the Keyboard area.

Also, despite having a very small 57 WHr battery for such a powerful device, Lenovo has optimized this Laptop for very solid battery life. Below are the some Battery test results from Notebookcheck review:

WLAN Test at reduced brightness: Almost 10 Hours
Video Streaming: 7 Hrs 17 minutes

Display Quality: The Display on this Laptop is one of the best in class, in fact beating the higher end XPS 15's 4K Display. Below are the details:
Panel: CSOT T3 MNF601EA-1
Max Brightness: 626 cd/m2
Average Brightness: 599 cd/m2
Contrast: 1619:1
Delta E Color: 1.4
GreyScale: 2.2
Color Gamut: 100% sRGB, 99% Adobe RGB, 93% DCI-P3 (https://youtu.be/5LXKTZyZxi4?t=152)
All those specs and USB-C Data delivery only! Boo..
Really no thunderbolt?? Not even USB Gen 2 speeds? How can they match these high specs with the worst USB connectivity....

am i missing something? 1100 for a 1650ti??
thinkbook is one of lenovo's business laptop models, and this is geared toward content creators. for gaming i wouldn't recommend this one, as you wouldn't be getting a lot for your money in that regard.

How does this compare to the ThinkPad T15? I want to run a lot of spreadsheets and trading software.

I am OS agnostic and am wondering if this CPU/GPU combo can keep up with the Apple M1. It's nearly impossible to find comparisons because Windows laptops have a plethora of CPU/GPU combinations.I keep and use my computers for 6-8 years and do some graphic design but don't game. Thoughts?
Very good question/ concern. IMHO I think M1 and MACOS offer a much better performance...

False - This will blow the M1's out of the water with the overall performance. That said, it is a full 45W CPU with dedicated GPU vs the 15W APU that the M1 is.

They both have their pluses and minuses. As an admin, MacOS is pretty terrible to manage in a corporate environment in comparison and there are a lot of nuisances that need workarounds that aren't an issue on Windows.

The Mac hardware itself is fine, except the lack of ports meaning required usage of dongles for everything. That and the extremely overpriced RAM and SSD upgrade prices. Also, wish there was a 15-16" MacBook Air.

I understand, but the infinite updates asking me to restart my servers sometimes 2-3 times, BOD, just was never fan of bg creepy products.
macos is ok, was not talking about macos inside corporate, just the OS thats always up and fast.
linux is by far the best choice.
