Wired is usually better because it has less delay. The home base can connect upto 16 cameras if I'm not mistaken. I currently have a bunch of 2c cameras along with this wireless set... so far 6 months in no issues. It(eufy) is a great alternative to paid subs like nest and other security companies.
Just a heads up, this model is marketed at wireless, but you can also hard wire it into your existing doorbell wiring.
I own this wireless doorbell and also the wired doorbell that works with the home base. Motion sensing is a little slow but efficient for viewing. Video quality is pretty good during the day but at night it's not very good. It only records motion and not 24/7 which is expected as the battery would wear down fast but I would have liked it for my wired doorbell. I have only charged my battery once in 5 months. Hope the battery doesn't deteriorate as its not replaceable. I got rid of Ring for this and happy I did.

Which is better? This or 2K wired doorbell? Also, can the Homebase included with this doorbell be used to connect with other Eufy's cameras?

I bought this device on the previous slickdeal and it is working out great.. there is barely any delay in detection and when ringing and i would recommend it in a heartbeat.. i have been using it wirelessly for around 3 weeks with ~10-15 detections everyday and its still at 100% battery.

This is the recommended way as the wires will keep the batteries charged and thus not require replacement.

I agree 100%, but not everyone has the correct wiring for the install. Something to keep in mind if someone is planning on using existing.

So even if I wire it, its still dependent on the life of battery which could be 3 to 5 years?

Any chance this drops back to $150? I've been eyeing this model for a month and it's been $160 lately.
