At least it isn't a new account, since they joined in 2013. Maybe they've been playing the super long con just for this moment?

Edit for first impression: So I ordered a pair and they just came in today. Only a few hours of use so far but for $17 they sound great, they are comfortable (for my ears anyway), and don't seem cheap.
The touch sides takes a bit of getting used since I am used to holding down or pressing a button but it seems nifty. The case they come with is heavy but I don't think it is a bit heavy, however it make it feel higher quality. I can't say if that even has any baring on this though. I also like the little LED screen on the front that tells you the individual power of the buds as they are charging.

The biggest pro for me is that each individual bud seems to be able to be on and connected. This is a gripe I had with several even name brands of these type of ear buds that I have had in the past. You would always have to have like the left one connected and then the right one could connect to the left one or something. Sometimes I just want to have the right or left one on. With these that seems to be possible from what I can tell so far, so that is awesome.

Biggest cons so far is the fact that it uses Micro USB to charge and the door tends to close rather easily. Really not big deals, especially for the price.

Again this is just my review after about 2 hours of messing with them. For $17 I am super happy with them so far.

---
Edit day 2: Still enjoying these. I used them for a good 3 - 4 hours while listening to music and working. When I finished I put them back in their case and they were at roughly 50%. I had put them back in their case for about 20 min now and they are at about 85%. The case has dropped down to 99% power remaining in it's own store.

They have good sound in general. It comes with small, medium, and large tips but have only tried the small ones. They were pretty good and comfortable. I replaced them with some slightly better and bigger ones from an old pair of ear buds. It greatly improved the noise canceling and improved the sound and bass I could hear.

At this point my only gripe really is changing the volume. You have to leave your finger on the touch panel until you reach your desired volume. It makes it a little tough to go up like one or two notches. It also pauses almost every time as soon as you release to increase or decrease the volume because single tap of the touch panel of either ear pauses.

It's not that bad though, I have gotten used to just got used to tapping again before moving my hand away.
I can admit when I'm wrong. Apologies, sir!
Dude, you are preaching to the choir, but you're also off the mark here. I'm overly suspicious of fake accounts on all platforms. I guess I don't care what you think. Long time user/lurker, first time poster, but, like I said, for a reason. Buy 'em, or don't. I have no skin in the game. Just trying to give an honest assessment/experience with these things and the company. I thought I was being pretty transparent.
Also? Go ahead and Google me. You'll likely find me in like two clicks (thank you insane last name) if that'd somehow make you less suspicious.

These things are CRAZY good for $17, at $44.99, not so much.

They destroy all my other sub-$25 Bluetooth earbuds in terms of battery life and sound quality.

The actual buds themselves are slightly larger than others, but it's insignificant for my uses, and the increase in battery life is worth it.

Case that doubles as a 3500mah phone charger is a nice touch.

Buy these and forget about basically all other buds under $60.

Got mine today. Sound is crappy by itself. Discovered if you download a free bass booster app like 'Music Volume EQ' or 'Equalizer & Bass Booster' it makes a HUGE difference. I was going to return them but now I am keeping them.

it's definitely a heavy set. The buds are quite a bit bigger than the stem type but they do have very decent passive noise reduction. Bass is decent but the sound does lack a bit of the high note and spatial depth

Does the app improve call quality/volume?

I just got the blue ones couple of days ago. They look premium and the case weighs like a ton comparing with the current generation of wireless earbuds, but that is due to the fact it is made of metal and has a big battery inside. The music sounds great. However, when I am on a phone call with just one bud in the ear, the listeners kept complaining at times that they can't hear me. Not sure if anyone is facing the same issue. Other than that these are great buds for the price.

How do you buy more than 1 with the promo?

I just chose a different seller.

It looks like most that have it listed as new have a coupon box you can click to get them under $20.

My order for 2 was ~$35

do u happen to have Tozo T10s ?
if you do, can u kindly post ur comparison ?
I have them Big Grin I'll dig them out tonight and give them a comparison.

Edit:

I couldn't find them so checked my amazon order and I've returned them. But looking at the product I remember these. When I bought them they were on sale for $39.99, a $10 discount. Currently they are $24. I also didn't leave a review, which is the case where I didn't really like the product. As such I remember the cons with these were

- cheap case, especially the cover. I mean cheap cheap
- max volume distorts
- fit was not great on my ears. They kept falling out
- blanket low freq coverage to get the deep bass but washes out the mid/highs, just like the Vankyo's here.

For the $40 bucks it wasn't better than any of the other ones I had and couldn't match that Chisana earbuds for bass and clarity. Chisana can be had for $20 on sale. I've literally bought 20 or so of them as gifts due to their sound quality at the price.

Edit:

Oh yea, listening to Chisana's again and they are awesome lol. Give them a try if they go on sale Smilie

Love these, absolutely incredible for $18.

Paired them with these foam tips for an earplug type feel, they fit perfect, seal perfect, and there is no unpleasant pressure. Make sure to get small 4.5mm since they go deep in your ears.

I received these and they're amazing! Makes you really think about how much you're getting ripped off most of the time. It looks like they're $50 on Amazon now. Even at $50 I'd buy these.
Like another person said, the cover of the charging case feels cheap. But...I don't really care all that much about stuff like that. I value utility and price over everything else. And on those metrics these are a must-buy.

Did you insert and twist like it said in the instructions? Also, there are other size covers included in the package you can try.

thank you for all the time finding out what you did and taking time to report back
I am glad I am staying away from the Tozo in that case
these have not shipped yet for me, I am not a prime member, but I will keep an eye out for the Chisana brand in case they go on sale prior to these shipping
seems like many SDers are liking these at $18 price point
There are 3 kinds that I saw on Chiasana amzn page, there are ones on left and right side , one in black and other in white both have flat boxes, the ones in the middle picture seems different style with vertically sitting earphones. which ones are you referring to

For those of you saying you don't like how these sound. At first I thought they sounded kind of flat & the extra bass I was worried about was nowhere to be found. Try hooking them up to a device with music playing at medium volume & leave them alone for a while. Mine sound pretty good after breaking them in.
are u being serious ? so electronics now a days need are breaking in ??
what s coming next, breaking in your iphone ?

That certain heft. That can be attributed to the large battery in the charging case.
