Combo up savings totaling $59.00 ($15 from the motherboard and $44 from the cpu) should automatically be applied, and the promo code
PCGDR2968 should also be automatically applied to the cpu for an additional $50 off, your total should be $230.97.
If you have any issues you can follow these alternate instructions:
Go to the newegg intel combo builder:
https://www.newegg.com/tools/combo-builder/4293
Select the "GIGABYTE B760M DS3H DDR4 LGA 1700 Intel B760 M-ATX" motherboard and the "Intel Core i7-12700KF Desktop Processor" cpu. Then click the button that says "ADD ALL ITEMS TO CART", your total should be $230.97.
The 12700kf alone currently has a frontpage deal at $190:

This deal is only $41 more expensive while including a serviceable (though admittedly fairly mediocre) motherboard, and is an extremely good value for a lower end system.

One of the people who left a newegg review for this motherboard is using it with a 13700k, in their review they say: "This build uses an i7-13700K, which does thermal throttle when benchmarking. Also one of the VRM's reports a thermal throttle occasionally as well when running benchmarks. So if you're looking for Max full tilt perf gaming or video editing workstation you'll likely need a Z760/Z660 - but you already know that. I personally can't get this rig to throttle in normal use."
Since the 13700k uses a whopping 121 additional watts at full load, if this board doesn't throttle under normal use with a 13700k, there will be absolutely no issues whatsoever for the far less power hungry 12700k.
Moving on to the lack of overclocking support, that's not much of a concern in a budget system, and for an intel system most people wouldn't want to make it run hotter and less efficiently anyways.
The motherboard in this combo is indeed relatively feature poor, and is a budget tier board overall. For those who have uses cases that would be hindered by this boards featureset, this combo is indeed not a good option. Hence why I linked the specifications page for the motherboard in my first post in this thread. For the vast majority of people who would be building a system in this price tier, the motherboard in this combo should be sufficient.

There's a 12th gen 12600k for $149 right now on Amazon (see the deal posted today), I'd grab that and the msi z790p pro wifi DDR4 board (people are off loading these on eBay for a good price as they are buying the bundle). You probably already have DDR4 ram so don't need to upgrade that. Sell your existing parts.
Fyi, all of this only applies if you don't have microcenter near you, if you do then I'd skip all of this and just get their 7700x bundle (my preference) or 12700k bundle and call it a day.
OOPS... Promo code PCGDR2968 is not eligible for this order and cannot be redeemed.
