Whatever, I bought one, cause this is best price for 72", people can point out that 60 and 54 are cheaper, but once you see the backboard shake on all these smaller poles or two peice poles you will understand what makes this a great deal
Thanks for the find. Can anyone find a greater volume of reviews on this hoop regarding wobble, etc.? The one-piece pole is nice. I'm just wondering whether it's worth the $180 discount vs the GS72c that has a more dedicated following.
Fyi it annoys me that they call this brand Lifetime and sell you products you cement into the ground permanently in your yard, yet every 10-15 years they stop supporting a model and won't sell you a replacement if your backboard gets cracked. I have a very expensive lightning rod in my yard until I become an amateur contractor and have some custom poly-whatever or super weather proofed wood cut to do a custom repair.

The picture appears to show it bolted to an anchor in the ground in this case. Can't comment on the quality of this vs other brands, but seems like a decent deal for 72".

Go Goalrilla or just go to the park.
I did a lot of research and found Mega Slam Hoops to be the best quality in the general price range. I had focused in on Goalrilla, Pro Dunk, and Mega Slam as my 3 finalist. First Team would have been great but the price jump is substantial.

Just want to let people know about Lifetime's awesome customer service and warranty. I recently bought a house that had a 10+ year old 54 inch mammoth installed. It was nice and stable. I never noticed any wobble from normal use. Unfortunately one of my kids decided to use the backboard as a target for a BB Gun. Shattered safety glass everywhere. When I called up lifetime about getting new parts they told me they no longer have parts for my older model and that they are sending out a new 54 mammoth completely free of charge! I was very surprised how easy the process was for such an expensive item..

He's not wrong. The 60" and smaller are cheaper (some for $800 which is awesome) but the 72" backboards are all more expensive than OP.
Those options are all more expensive than this one.
