I own two pairs of these, one brand new when they came out for $37 and then a renewed set for $32 in December 2019. I like them, the ANC is pretty good, but not like a Bose or Sony XM4 level, but neither is the price. IDK if it is still the case, but the "renewed" pair was brand new, same box, and everything as the brand new pair. If you're not super picky on audio these are pretty decent, just very bass heavy even without the bass boost enabled. I would put the bass on par with the Vmodas before they got bought out. It doesn't handle the bass as well as the Vmodas but the price is probably justified at $40 IMO

Just a heads up to folks considering purchasing these. I've received two pairs of these renewed Q20s (original purchase and replacement) from Amazon over the last week. Both make painfully loud popping noises with any type of movement. Looking at the Amazon reviews for the non-renewed Anker Q20, the popping noise seems to be a common problem. I'm guessing the renewed Q20 headphones being sold on Amazon are probably the defective ones folks are returning.
Bought these new and they're great! Just keep in mind these are refurbished, and these regularly go on sale brand new for just a few bucks more at ~$40. Might be worth waiting if you can.
Also if you can get the version with a case for only a few $ more its definitely worth it. I checked my order history from last year and paid about $45 with case.
These are more comfortable than the XM4, when wearing the XM4 the top of my head started to hurt and with these I can wear them for hours without any issue. The ANC is kind of on par but the sony blocks just a bit more sound.
Plus kudos to anker, my year old pair had the ear pads busted and they sent me another pair no charge. Will keep a look out for the q30 to give it a try.
