Game Liquidations is not an authorized dealer for LG products. Be wary of that if you order from them.

Yeah, it shouldn't affect your warranty, but I've never heard of this site before, and for a store called "Game Liquidations", they don't appear to sell any games. Their first page of products is a whole page of add on warranties. I would be wary ordering from them.

There are many threads on here with TV's coming from them

As I understand LG will honor a warranty for a TV not bought from an authorized dealer
Samsung and Sony not so much

I do wish Game Liquidations was an authorized dealer ..it would be nice to use them as a price match source

Fair enough. I have helped family and friends navigate their bad experiences in the past dealing with unauthorized merchants before - like the super shady Abe's of Maine - so I've become wary of unauthorized merchants.

LG should honor the warranty, my concern was more about getting a refurbished or returned unit or surprise up-charges like delivery fees or paying extra "to get a consumer model with a warranty."

Seen this question for years, LG usually honors the warranty and pretty good at it. I have seen other members experienced the same and some instances just ask for the serial number and sends a tech

People have bought lg oled from non authorized dealers on eBay and had issues with warranty so you are basically taking a gamble if they will take warranty or not as they don't have to

I've heard good things and bad things. Just wanted to provide a heads up to anyone purchasing from an unauthorized dealer to do their homework.

Every thread is so predictible with these OLEDs. Someone claims "not authorized dealer" when LG themselves stated they will honor their warranty regardless of the dealer.
