Hopefully there are some 128gb pixel 3xl's that will hit these sales.

My 3xl has been a champ for 2.5 years. Wouldn't mind replacing it with a new one.

I've had mine since it was released and I think this might be the first time I haven't had an itch to upgrade to a new phone. Absolutely no complaints.

"Not pink" as in technically salmon?

I believe that's the actual color name. I have a 3xl in "not pink" and it is pink, but only the small frame around the camera and fingerprint reader is exposed, and it's a very light pink/grey color. So far no one has picked on my for having a pink phone and being a quy, so I guess you would be "safe" to use "not pink". Wink

I've started to hate buying older android phones now. It seems devs don't want to support older phones, and if your phone can't upgrade to the latest Android OS (which is often my case), you're out of luck. If you only need YouTube, internet browsing, messaging, and the camera app, this is a great deal. But expect other apps to stop working before phone stops working

Mine broke (for reasons unknown) and I replaced it with 4A.

I miss my wireless charging dearly. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

That's absurd. Probably half the Android phones in the world are running Android 9 or older.

Any SD'ers able to parse the description "made for Verizon but is unlocked and compatible w/other carriers", also infers ability to unlock the bootloader?
I took the plunge but will cancel order or return if the bootloader is NOT unlockable.

Might be of interest: I ordered & recvd a used Woot Pixel 3 XL 128. IMEI began w/35 (Verizon) and unable to unlock.
Other than my interest in an unlocked phone... this used (2yo phone per blacklist checkers) was in better cosmetic shape than anticipated. (a single 3/8" scratch on screen. Back was fine)
Battery "seems" good per a simple app-test.

What about a battery replacement? These
Thanks, in canceling for this reason. This phone would otherwise get android 12 I believe. Verizon is trash.

Me and my wife both have Pixel 3 128GB (rooted Google's version) and both have camera issues (loosing focus). I was able to replace hers before warranty expired but mine started showing same symptoms after warranty was already over. Unfortunately there is no other newer, rootable, small android phone on the market that would be better than Pixel 3. Pixel 4 doesn't have fingerprint reader so it's no go for me. Pixel 5 has issues with sound quality and reception. 4a and 4a 5g are not waterproof. So I'm actually looking for either new or refurbished Pixel 3 to replace mine (black) and another as spare for my wife's (pink). But it seems that nobody sells Google's version, only Verizon with not unlockable boot loader. The only place that you can get Google's version is Google store but it's little bit too pricey there.

I keep going back and forth on replacing my 2XL. The only thing wrong with it is the battery life which is really starting to show its age.

The specs on the 3 seem on par or slightly less impressive. And I'm not sure I want my screen to get 1/2" smaller.

Gah, why can't google come out with the Pixel 6XL already.

That's like saying if the backdoor is unlocked I'll assume the front door is too. All Verizon Pixel 3 models are bootloader locked. Has nothing to do with it being unlocked or locked carrier.

Can this be used for backing up photos free on Google Photos? I heard Google would grandfather the option for some Pixel phones. Thank you.

Does this version do band 71? I don't know if all pixel phones have the same bands or if there are different versions for different carriers.

I've got a LG V35 that I rather like, but a cracked screen and broken proximity sensor annoy me. I was thinking about replacing it. But they're both snapdragon 845, so this would be kind of a sidegrade, so I don't know if it's worth it. I'm a mint/t-mobile user, so if this one has band 71 it might be worth the switch.

I've never seen an Android update that purposely slows the phone down and called it a feature, and I've also found that apps in the Google Play store seem to be more forgiving of older versions than those in the Apple App store. I'd imagine that varies somewhat depending on the age of the phone and what version of Android it actually supports.

I have much older Android devices that still work, though I doubt they have the power to run anything big or recent on them.
