Another postive feedback on the M9 here.
Bought it for my parent's 3800 sq ft home wider box - that was using a hand me down Netgear Nighthawk AC1750.

Like the tri-band with 1 dedicated to wireless backhaul.
They only have 100 mbps broadband but they are hitting @ 99% of that in all rooms of their house.
Their streaming YTTV is now not buffering anymore along with 30+ other clients.
Really like the TrendMicro build-in antivirus.
Simple to setup & app is not too network engineering degree dependent.

Only wish you can manually steer the client to a specific mesh without having to wait & hope it locks on one day why you are looking @ the app & force lock it.

I have a gigabit fiber connection and google mesh (3points) wifi. I was thinking of doing a wired ethernet backhaul for google wifi points. Is the M9 still a better choice for this kind of set up in terms of internet speed and connectivity? My house is 2700 sq ft, any suggestions will help !

Do the points have ethernet? Thought they were wireless only.

I have this. It works good except Range. No outage, functional app, easy to setup but lot of dead spots in my 4100 sq.ft. house. I won't suggest if you have multistory house bigger than 3500 sq.ft.

Haven't tried backhaul but it should cover your size of house

I am wondering if the deal is cheaper in-store, I might swing by Costco tomorrow. The reason for my question is that I recently went with my friend to buy a iSUP/Kayak, the price instore was $29.99 cheaper than the price online(shipping included).

I bought this at Costco only a couple of days ago, can I ask them to price match and refund?

Some questions:
1. Does this provide sever logs like a normal router? This is my main gripe with Google WiFi.
2. Does it support offloading DHCP to another device? I'd like to use PiHole has my DHCP server.
3. Can you set up different DNS servers for different devices? I'd like my work systems to use a public DNS like Google or Cloudflare, but kids OpenDNS or PiHole to restrict content.

Yes, Costco has a web form you can fill out. I've used it multiple times even beyond 30 days and they have always given me back the difference.

I tried these for a friend and they were garbage. Maine router speed kept dropping like crazy. Ended up returning and going with 2 x Google OnHubs. Much better setup.
