OP: please put "Vertuo" in the title of the thread, "today only", and other relevant info (such as what variety you can get with the free sleeve). Titles allow for lots of info; please make them informative.
Only pods that I've tried that are just as good is Peets. Currently NOT on sale at Costco for $45 for 80 pods shipped (for the original line). Discounts come around every few months at $8 off.

For Vertuo it's about getting any discount rather than a large discount.
You're not kidding. I had an original and won a Vertuo in a raffle. I was going to sell it, but then figured screw it, let me try it for larger coffee sizes.
It's a good machine, but the capsules are highway robbery, and they're almost never discounted.
