Not doubting you, but I wonder if they have inconsistent manufacturing. I'm a long time Ex-O wearer, and I swear by them. A couple of years ago, people started complaining that the quality had gone downhill, that the waists were failing and that the material was pilling up.

I almost held back, but decided to buy a few more pairs, and they've been just as reliable as the earlier ones.

So I wonder whether it's a YMMV thing, or if I just got lucky the last time around. You're not the only one complaining, so I know it's not just one or two people who got a bad batch.

You must do 'chill time with the boys' differently than me if underwear color matters.
·
You're probably washing them wrong, I've had these specific ones among other pairs. 0 issues.

Wash on cold, hang dry = 0 issues for me.

Same boat as others, ordered one size, delivered a different size. Email confirmations show correct size, shipping receipt in the bag shows the size that was delivered and they are not the same!!! WTF, now got to deal with the hassle of return..... first purchase from woot, not impressed to say the least

Yup, same. I ordered 2 packs of smalls and was sent 2 packs of mediums. Order says smalls. invoice sheet in the package says medium. How did they manage to do that?

Anyways, They refunded me. Anyone want to trade 2 packs of their smalls for my 2 packs of mediums?

Sign me up for the I ordered L and got XL crew. I wrote to woot and the next day got an email saying that they are sending replacements and I can keep the XLs to do with as I please.

Got a pair from REI and love them, some pilling but fit just right. Picked up some at Costco and they don't fit the same, looser around the boys.

I think I figured out what went wrong: the problem is some kind of array error or something in Amazon's stock system (which I guess the Woot inventory tied into). I've never seen this kind of thing happen before and have reported it to an agent on Amazon's chat.

same experience here. have been wearing these for about 10 years. saw the negative reviews, but bought them anyway. wsa the same as my earlier ones.
