Related - is there a true organic something I can spray to kill mosquitoes? Like some sort of something I can fog? We have a 7 month old and we get them in our backyard due to some neighbors who don't maintain their ivy

I don't think it works that way, it's really more to protect your plants from aphids etc.

thanks for the link but Jesus, how hard would it be to put how many ounces or quarts or gallons of spray that 10oz bottle makes? Spend all the time looking at the damn pictures and trying to read the label and nothing. Finally someone asked the question and the answer is it makes 10 gallons of spray (in case anyone wondered).

And I mean the manufacturer not you. Smilie

They make organic citronella and/or lemongrass in a spray. It won't kill mosquitos, but it will drive them away (theoretically, at least).

Also, mosquitos propagate in stagnant water. I've never heard of ivy causing a mosquito infestation. If you have bird baths or any sort of water feature where the water isn't recycled automatically, it needs to be changed out every day with fresh water.

This stuff works really well for keeping tiny hibiscus flys (sawfly's) at bay. Last year the larve deviststed my plants so I used this in early April and it worked like a charm.

We got this to try - Cutter mosquito repellent diffuser: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BPXKCYZL

My husband is an entomologist who is familiar with pesticides and he suggested to try this. Our patio is unbearable with the mosquitoes right now. We have dogs and cats so we had to take them into consideration also.

I'm about to purchase some beneficial lacewings for my house plants. Although this product works well, trying something new and less messy.

This isn't really messy. Just a bit smelly.
