Customized and ordered one of these March 13th. Estimated ship date was April 12th. April 13th I got an email saying it was delayed another month. I called and cancelled. When I got my refund a week later, they did not refund my extended warranty, even though i ordered it at the same time. Had to call them again. Not cool.

If this was any other color I would bite, I've had 2 silver HP Envy's and can't see the keys. Terrible idea HP. Nice laptop though

After reading all these random crashing reports across multiple threads since Thanksgiving, I asked for a cancellation yesterday. Technically it was a couple hours beyond the 1-hour windows. Luckily their automated phone system had been broken (keep hanging up on me) and I used that as leverage. Even then the rep said they could only put in a request and couldn't guarantee anything. Just got a confirmation email that the cancelation went through.

What a pity. The spec looks really good for the price. But I will stay out of the low end HP hardware from how on.

Edit - Ended up going with Dell Inspiron 15 5502 deals (previous FP https://slickdeals.net/f/14871448-dell-inspiron-15-5502-laptop-15-6-1080p-i7-1165g7-12gb-ddr4-512gb-nvme-667-free-shipping) for $630 after the Dell University $100 off

Had same experience when I cancelled one a few months back. I cancelled it the day after I ordered it because I decided to order a different config instead. You can't edit after ordered.

Took lots of back and forth to get the refund, then had to follow up on the warranty refund afterward like you. The warranty would have stayed stuck in "refund pending" forever had I not followed up.

Anyone received the hp laptop yet. I ordered on April 24, got a backorder with ETA May 21. But received an email today that it is backorder to June 21.
