This has the Arc graphic with 7 Xe cores as this is Ultra 5 H (Ultra 7 H has 8 Xe Cores). So, performance will be slightly below 780M. Another thing to keep in mind is that Intel's gaming performance is inconsistent compared to AMD due to Graphic driver optimisation. So, in some games, it may perform very poorly but in others it performs on per with 780M. Thankfully, Intel has been continuously working on these and the situation is getting better over time.

Anyone know if this supports SSDs larger than the 1TB they offer? I'd love to buy the base model and then put a 2TB or 4TB SSD in there along with 32GB of RAM.

You can put as much size as available, provided the thickness of the drive allows it to be fitted inside the laptop.

Crucial has an upgrade tool. They don't have the 15t-fd100 listed, but they do have 15t-fd000 and they appear to be the same. If so, it does support 2TB and 4TB SSDs (of the right size?). https://www.crucial.com/compatibl...00-cto#ssd
