Are these returned developer transition kits? Just curious why there are so many compared to other Apple refurbs.
Possibly buyers remorse due to limited information about no upgradeable memory or SSD upgrade. If you need 16 GB memory you must buy a Mac Mini M1 with 16 GB of memory same with the SSD if you want 512 GB or 1 TB you need to buy exactly what you need.

The developer transition kits were a custom Frankenstein machine made up of an old A-series iPhone/iPad processor and were not the shipping M1 Mac Mini's. These are definitely not the units set out to developers to help with the Intel to M1 transition.
These Apple Refurbs are a decent deal considering the M1 Mac Mini is the same guts (almost) as whats in the new M1 iMac.
Almost pulling the trigger but my gut is telling me to hold out to the next gen processor (M1+? M2? Who knows how Apple will name them!)
