When my grandkids visit, I life my Ipad off the keyboard, and put it inside the Apple branded folio case. They need to go both vertical and horizontal for their games. The magnets in that case are also very strong and the Ipad is secure in both cases. I paid $ 245 in December 2000, after a BB discount and an Amex $ 25 credit.

We all know this is Apple's biz model, if to you set the expectations that your purchase will require ~20% more investment in accessories, makes the sting and angst a lot less of having to purchase these accessories separately.
