I was about to buy this, but then I read the tons of reviews of people claiming that this killed all of their fish! Too many to dismiss as user error or mistakes.

I'm pretty sure whatever makes it glow is likely toxic to fishes. Great price but thats likely due to people not wanting to kill their fishes. Unless you have glofish which are hand injected fishes with glowing chemicals that does live long anyways.

Glofish are not injected. They are genetically altered with squid DNA. They pass the "glo" DNA on to their kids.
