I tried the code on other XPS with higher GPU but didn't work. So I guess the answer is no. You can swap it later but I think you would need another PSU then.

It's actually a fairly solid setup. Add another RAM stick to get it to 16gb and it'll handle VR well.

No power connector for a gpu. Many do not need one.

But the DDR is expandable to at least 32GB.

You can add two SSD's m.2.

Edit: A review said it didn't the review was wrong. Perhaps they wanted a different one not the 8 pin one this GPU uses.

A 1660 Super needs a power connector, so I "think" you might be wrong.
