The proprietary power supply and motherboard headers in this computer mean you will run into issues with future upgrades. This is intentional, slimy, and bad for the environment.

I'm using the same 1660 Super in my older i7-3930K build. It works great! This deal won't last long so order it as soon as possible!

Are Dell Inspiron vs XPS the same case size or is XPS bigger to add a better aftermarket PSU?

My current XPS (3 years old) has an aftermarket EVGA PSU in it, but i7-7700 is showing its age.

Nice. Have been waiting for this. The CPU is not that great, but as a mid-tier generic purpose PC, I think this one serves its purpose.

A 1660 Super needs a power connector, so I "think" you might be wrong.
1660 Super indeed utilizes 1 x 8-pin. Dell however utilizes proprietary power supply with just 12v pins.

Do you know which ram is compatible?
I also would like to know. I know that some models of Dell Desktops like the Alienware are very picky when it comes to RAM. Curious if the same could be said for the XPS lineup.

Don't forget to uncheck the premium support (which Dell automatically selects :smh) and get $9.99 off the total price.
If you've already placed the order get it cancelled from your account digital lock section.

It's kind of hidden, but this package includes 'monthly premium support' - basically a warranty for $6.24 a month after the first free month. So please make sure to opt out of this garbage if you order.

For reference, a hot deal that is out of stock often at microcenter is a powerspec i5, 1660super, 512 ssd, 16gb for $999.
Yes, Office Depot has nearly the exact same specs as this deal for a MSI at $868:
MSI Codex R 10SC 003US - Tower - Core i5 10400F / 2.9 GHz - RAM 8 GB - SSD 512 GB - GF GTX 1660 SUPER - GigE - WLAN: Bluetooth, 802.11ax - Windows 10 Home - monitor
$868.99 / each

I got the XPS desktop with 2060 GPU a couple of weeks ago for $790. I think 16GB ram and 500w power supply are the notable difference.
Is that worth the $140 price difference?

The desktop seems to be nicely and compactly built. My sole purpose was to get the gfx card as a temporary option for my other premium build. The processor has integrated graphics and the case came with both hdmi and display ports for the integrated graphics. Make sure you install intel gfx driver to use those ports. Dell does not install those.
