Merkury devises are very unsafe they require a non password protected network to connect. About 2 years ago I tried there light bulbs,rgb bulbs and switches. Unless they updated there models and software dont buy these. Tplink Kasa is easier, just better

I have several Merkury bulbs and switches, all of which connect to my password protected network with no problems.

In store price might be cheaper, for me the dimmer was $9 and $8 for regular on/off switch.
