I'd strongly advise everyone NOT to order these. I've had two of them for about six months or so. At some point, one developed a bug that causes it to reset every few minutes. When it does so, it resets the administrative account's password to an empty string. So I've had a network-connected device with an empty admin password humming away for at least a couple months. This is generally regarded as a Bad Thing in network security.

Adding insult to injury, I contacted Reolink support about this, and after a single response, they just started ignoring me.

This is a lready a known issue, moreover. You can find a Reddit thread discussing this vulnerability dating back three months.

Again, I seriously advise anyone who wants an IP camera to purchase from anyone other than Reolink.
PoE Switch or Switch + PoE Injector. Blue iris is the most popular option. There's also ZoneMinder, Shinobi, iSpy, motionEye, etc.

Or just get a dedicated Reolink NVR.

EDIT: You could also opt to not use an NVR or NVR software and just use the built-in SD card storage plus the Reolink App

In before the blue iris guys come and trash Reolink. I've been testing their 5mp with AI. It's not perfect but for the price it's great. My biggest complaint is the viewing angles are so narrow. I'd really prefer 110 or so but the closest Amcrests with a higher FOV are 80-100% more.

Yes it is. The devices are iffy of you switch routers once in a while (like me). But if the use case is review of footage on mobile, these are good.

Yes. The Reolink app is the best app I've seen so far for IP cameras like this. It's definitely not "great", but most of these apps are beyond awful.

You can easily see motions event clips on the app and download them to your phone if needed.

Anyone know of a reolink camera that has a wider field of view than 90°? Love the cameras but the narrow field of view is killing me.

I'm in the same boat. I'm testing an 8mp amcrest with a wider FOV. But the app is so buggy and such a horrible UI I don't think I can stick with it. And it was almost double the cost of the Reolink
