Yes, go for the C model. If you can upgrade the features for all the odds and ends, I would recommend you do so, even if they are not included in the discount. The chairs are comfortable without the add-ons, but substantially more so with them especially at our size.

Ordered one and upgraded everything came out to a little over 1200 after discounts.

I am a similar build, use a Steelcase Leap v1 I bought used that is very comfortable and doesn't get warm even though it's cloth (as opposed to mesh on the Aeron). I used to sit in an Aeron and while it was great, sometimes the plastic border around the bottom seat would dig into my thighs. Something to consider.

Why not buy from Madison Seating? The chair is $550 with arm rests and everything new.
