I've used both over the years. It's about par with TurboTax.

It is absurd that states charge for eFile. I mail in printed pages to them. Stupid that they would rather scan those pages and enter info manually for free rather than accept electronic data for free and not have any of that manual labor. Go figure. Government is usually not very smart because they run using our money.

I did my dad's taxes with three different tax programs, and Turbotax was the worst. My dad has a 1099-NEC, and the two other programs gave him a tax credit but Turbotax wouldn't. I googled and couldn't figure it out, so I used one of the others.
