It depends on how large and stubborn the jobs are. Electric are great for smaller jobs. If you have a big driveway or patio or house these little units will take you forever to get job done. A gas with spinner extension with about 3200 psi will get you better results

Got sears gas, Campbell electric. While what u say is true, in practice, I ve found electric much easier 2 start, move around with minimal fuss, unlike the gas where limited use may end with with service call due to gumming from gasoline. Already had one $$ service call on gas unit. Gas unit also runs out of gas frequently while electric keeps humming along. My wife can use electric, she s barely touches gas unit due to cranking, weight of unit. Believe 2000 psi electric unit would likely suffice 4 most homeowners. By all means, get circular attachment 4 decks if u plan 2 ever 2 use 4 that.
