A bag of noise makers + a colorful paper LOL! I was not expecting to see the mallet to a triangle counted as a "piece." Or a bag, or a book. Guess it's 6 pieces for $10. Had it not been advertised as a "10-piece" instrument set, I might not have such a bad taste in my mouth and would just move on. I know it's not as good as the Melissa & Doug Band in a Box we got for $5 (grabbed a couple early in the deal before slickdeal effect shut it down)...but the set had good quality pieces (real, but small, instruments) and a wooden crate. So this is just slightly nicer than dollar store but has the Melissa & Doug name.
