I would legit buy a pair of Reference Premier bookshelfs (from same vendor) for slightly more than this and enjoy the drastically superior audio quality of the RP line over these. Put them on shelves, end tables, whatever - they will sound better than the Reference series with it's cost cutting aluminum tweeter and other downgrades.

Well they do have the RP-600M for $355, getting close to this price good luck!
Whether someone "hears" $125 "worth" a difference will be completely up to the person listening.

Do a simple search before spreading false information.
The RP-150M set was just in the low $200s not long ago. If one were to call and speak with the Adorama sales rep, they may ask for those speakers at the old price on Slickdeals (refer to the Slickdeal), and 90% likelihood they will sell for that price.
edit: here is the link to that deal for $219 in case you really don't know how to find it:

Can someone please tell me the statistical probability formula people use in the rebuttals or statement when when discussing probability. eg. 85% of people who eat beans will pass gas in 23 minutes....
like this example, how do you know that is 90%? how does one know there is a 90% chance that a CS person would give a customer discount on speakers that are no longer on sale? Is this a talent/skill that can be applied on other products, or just speakers? does it have to be klipsch speakers? I have klipsh but I do like me some definitive technology speakers, can you give me the probability of me getting those on a discount when they are not on sale, hook a brother up...lol

That's a good question, I have a feeling it has something to do with him having the ability to answer his own question in the 1st place! 🤔
does the costco speaker having two cones impact sound as opposed to these with only one copper cone? I'm a student so budget is important. What do you think?

Replace 90% with "highly likely" to prevent confusing "some" people.
The RP-150M are last generation, so they are subject to frequent clearance pricing from authorized Klipsch clearance vendors, including Adorama. That is why it is highly likely that they honor past clearance prices on inventory subject to clearance. Try it, or don't. Worst they can do is say no, and then just wait for the next clearance sale, which happens every 1-2 months. Easy.

Here is my take in general terms:
These are thee entry level on the Klipsch line, 625's just above
.
The extra woofer should have an impact on the sound.
The Costco ones (625's) have a built in "Atmos" speaker, these do not so actually you get a 5.0.2 setup with Costco.
If you use these as surrounds and you do not have a direct line of sight to the woofers and tweeter to your ears then you will be blocking the sound, not ideal.
If you are making a blind buy a big advantage to Costco is the easier purchase and return if needed.
Another one, you get a whole package, nice if you have nothing.

Edit: listing I was looking at was for a single speaker only. My bad
