Is amazon the seller? Any link? TIA
I'm not a shoe scholar, what makes the Nimbus better? Thanks for the help.
Both neutral shoes but the Nimbus has more cushion (and weight). The cumulus is a bit more responsive, but firmer.
How do those compare to the Kayano 26, which is what I use currently
Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank WolverineMD
I believe the Kayano is a "stability"/"motion control" shoe (you can tell by it having different color/stiffer foam on the inside heal area designed to slow the foot's inward roll for people that may roll inwards too much). The nimbus is a "neutral" shoe, which means it has the same density of foam all around and basically let's the foot do what it wants too. If you didn't already know what this means chances are you aren't running enough miles for it to really make a difference. The people that run enough miles to get injured if they have the wrong type of shoe know what shoe they need already because they generally have gotten injured before lol. You should be fine in either one.

How does 22 and 23 differ?
So, would you be able to tell me if any of those things matter if you're using inserts like these?

Yes. Because the amount of foam, shock absorption, lateral stability, long term comfort (wearing a shoe 10 hours a day vs 5 etc.), how much stability it offers, all vary by shoe. By throwing in an insert doesn't take away from what the shoe is as a whole. It wasn't till much later in my life that I found out that the different model names of shoes is not just a different look for the shoe. It's actually what type of shoe it is and who it's for. Each model serves a purpose. People buy shoes for looks, I get it but I realize not that the name has everything to do with the features and is made for certain type of feet/jobs/pronation.
