I'll spare you a "Let Me Google That For You" because this requires explaining. Besides the Apple Silicon M1 chip (the chip that powered all Mac products released last year, said to be extraordinarily powerful), here are the big new selling points:

Much brighter miniLED screen, 1000-nit max (2020 model: 600-nit max)
Smart HDR 3 (2020 model: Smart HDR)
8GB or 16GB RAM (2020 model: 6GB)
Storage configurations up to 2TB (2020 model: up to 1TB)
12MP camera with Ultra Wide (2020 model: 7MP camera)
2x optical zoom out
Center Stage (front camera pans to follow you moving left-to-right on video calls)
Thunderbolt 4/USB4 port (2020 model: USB-C)

Note on that last one—USB-C and Thunderbolt 4/USB4 are the exact same thing with cross-compatibility. Except USB4 is significantly faster and more efficient. There's nearly nothing you'll want to buy today that'll be strictly Thunderbolt 4 or USB4. Now, in 2 years...

I'm an Android/Windows person, and the iPad Pro is the superior tablet. Even the base model iPad will run circles around a Samsung tablet except for the screen. 5 years of updates and great resale value is the reason I have an iPad. The OS is not my favorite, but I can deal with it.

Sorry about the confusion, I fixed it. Actual price is $899, applying $100 at check out makes it $799 plus tax.
