I got a bigger set but also from Circulon from Costco a few years back.

They are the BEST. Period.

The nonstick coat are still the same after 3 years of rigorous cooking. I used the metal tong to stir fry stuffs countless of time and the coating are still intact.

The stuffs heat up nicely and evenly.

To each their own. I won't risk it with my family. Stainless steel or cast iron or ceramic if you really need nonstick .

They describe the non stick interior surface below.

"Interior Surface:Triple-layer premium-quality TOTAL Food Release System"

I have had these for years and love them. I gave away an 8 inch frying pan because I'm dumb and really regret that decision

Noob here. I thought anodization wasn't a coating but a treatment to the aluminum. Meaning it isn't some chemical that gets put on the surface (to be scratched off) but is a process that changes a portion of the metal itself. You're saying these have some kind of chemical on them still?

Basically, you should familiarize yourself with the DuPont lawsuit that made it so common for cookware companies to advertise PFOA-free. There was a really good magazine article about the lawyer who got the historical judgment from DuPont.

As the link DaleE provided explains, http://www.chemprocessing.com/page.asp?pageid=91, ALUMINUM HARDCOAT ANODIZING/PTFE, uses PTFE. PTFE is polytetrafluoroethylene. PFOA is Perfluorooctanoic acid. PFOA is used in the process of synthesizing PTFE.

Keep in mind that NO non-stick set is true "Lifetime". Expect any decent non-stick set to last 4-6 years. The warranty on lifetime these companies provide typically lists that, as well, as the product life. Once you get significant scratches or any flaking off of non-stick coating, it's time to replace it before you eat the coating.

Also, keep in mind on This set; Hand wash only.

I've tried finding a good non-stick option and so far the best I can come up with is to buy the cheap restaurant non-stick pans at Sam's Club and just replace them more frequently. From the cheap sets all the way up to All-Clad and Hexclad there are several negative reviews about scratching, losing the coating and just not being non-stick. The alternatives like ceramic also don't seem to deliver on the promise of being non-stick.

We love our Circulon Infinite pots and pans. It's worth noting that the Elementum line offered here is not dishwasher safe and will not work with an induction range. If those two things don't matter to you, you won't be disappointed.

I bought the Costco set. It has great reviews on Amazon and Costco's websites.

Costco has a great return policy and I go there all the time. Not sure about the exact differences but can't go wrong with a risk free return policy and 4.8 out of 5 aggregated user rating score.

Had some top of their line circulon years back. Couldn't figure out what the circles are for.
But, when they just began to lose their nonstick , it instantly went downhill. The grooves would collect stuff.
Wouldn't buy again.

Still have a couple pots left though. I boil water in them.

Costco is dishwasher safe and works with induction because they have stainless steel bottoms

Circulon coatings although PFOA free still use PTFE coatings. Which means there is still chances of releasing toxic chemicals in high heat cooking.
Don't heat it without food in it. You're not supposed to do that.

If you want truly nonstick, just buy cheap ones each year. They will all lose their nonstick, it's just a matter of time.

You can also get somewhat nonstick from well-seasoned cast iron. It's not completely nonstick, but definitely better than stainless for some things.
