My 25 year old Makita died so I needed a drill. Based on how little I use a drill I decided to go cheap.

This is a very basic drill, but the price is right. I used it to drill 4 screws into studs, no pilot hole needed. So it can do that at least. Peace

You're right, I didn't realize this is a YMMV deal. Thought it was just on sale but maybe is clearance item as Brickseek shows various prices. Since their website shows $23,99 I assume you can get that price regardless but I added a Brickseek link for the product.

Stores around me have solid inventory if you're looking for a cordless not so powerful drill on the cheap.

Excellent screwdriver due to the torque adjustment.
550 rpm is ridiculous for drill use.
Cheaper black and decker ones back in time had 650rpm
