would this be significantly better than a current 6 core ryzen processor? i have always used amd processors, but their current price gouging sickens me.

pretty good deal. normally id say just go 11400. but with the 10600k being basically the same price with that 45 off discount this is a good deal

This makes no sense. How would a faster graphics card introduce a GPU bottleneck?

11600k would make more sense, yes. possibly newegg is bundling stuff to move inventory.

10600k limits pcie to gen 3, just a fyi. won't notice much difference in gaming, though.

no, it won't, especially at higher resolutions. i'll give you my personal example:

i have an 8600k (5.1ghz) with 3070. shadow of the tomb raider benchmark shows around 38% gpu bound, meaning gpu is the bottleneck 38% of the time, at 1440p.
