I cloned the same NVME SSD to two new SSDs. One was the 500GB version of this, another a 500GB Samsung 850 evo SATA. The Samsung was easily twice as fast. Took less than half as long to clone.
I probably won't buy any more of these. But if you are just upgrading your parents laptop or something, it's probably fine.

Certainly not what I experienced. It was directly connected to the mobo sata port.
