Nice colors and I like the blades aren't paint coated, which eventually chip/fade. For this price, really good set.

My colored Faberware set indeed started to bleed paint onto food. Glad they stopped making those, but after that, I swore off this brand forever.

I bought something like this back in college. The blade would come out of the plastic handle when I cut something sticky, glue helped with that.

Then of course as expected, blade became dull quick. But now I wonder if they'd be sharp still if I had a honing rod.

A honing rod doesnt keep a knife "sharp"

A decent sharpening stone. The honing rod is more for "deberring"(if I spelled it right).
