Toro 60-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Cordless String Trimmer and Leaf Blower Combo Kit (2-Tool), 2.0 Ah Battery and Charger Included-51881 - The Home Depot $199
Home Depot has the Toro 60v cordless battery operated trimmer and blower combo set on sale for $199.
Not the best or most powerful trimmer and blower combo, but I think this is a better deal than the popular Dewalt 20v trimmer/blower deal from Ace Hardware which recently expired.
Someone help me out here. The recent Ace Hardware DeWalt trimmer/blower combo with one 20v battery for $199 was a popular deal with 180+ thumbs up. This Toro trimmer/blower combo deal is the same price, but with a 60v battery instead of a 20v, and no one seems to like it.
I'm trying to understand how this Toro combo appears to be a worse value than the Dewalt combo at the same price.

2Ah battery with this deal. Pretty sure the Dewalt was a 5Ah battery.
Got it in store w/veterans discount. I have a toro 60v mower and powered snow shovel I got on clearance, so I don't mind the smaller battery this comes with
Do you remember how long the battery gives you for both tools? Thanks!
The battery gave me like 10 minutes on the trimmer and it wasn't enough to even put on the blower, the thing is toro always gives you the blower with a 2.5 ah and also the trimmer with a 2.5ah but for some reason the combo (pair) they give you a 2.0, batteries are too expensive to buy another so I'd say the dewalt, milwaukee, ryobi, ego is better if you have additional batteries

Maybe that's how they got the price so low, by including a smaller Ah battery. Wish the combo had a larger capacity battery.
But still, 10 mins seems awfully short and none of the reviews I've seen online indicate just 10 mins of runtime. Toro would be ripped online if their combo unit ran for only 10 mins and that hasn't happened, so I'm thinking you just got a bad unit.

When you let off the trigger it doesn't use battery what I'm saying is continuous use without taking breaks but regardless I think the battery is just too small to use it on both without charging in between

Any chance the dewalt 60v batteries will work with these (with an adapter)? I was going to buy dewalt flexvolt trimmer and blower bare tools but this is 1/2 price

The Dewalt trimmer/blower deal is unfortunately expired, though.
