We need something to cut stencils for spray paint marking some tools, tool storage boxes, etc.

Thus, I am curious if this item with whatever included software will actually cut stencils without a huge learning curve and what material is best used to do same? Or maybe there is a better alternative?

Thanks in advance....

I did a lot of research before buying since I did not want to spend a lot for supplies. Probably will go with vinyl only for making items for gifts and can sell on line. There are many blogs on the topic. I plan on experimenting with freezer paper and laminating pouches (I already have thick menu sized) for general purpose stencils. Or just card stock if single use. Made sure I have spare cutting blades: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KYJKF52
