I thought the differences were minimal between the 5/6 but after reading up on it, I'd strongly recommend the 6. The always on display is 2.5x brighter, has better battery life, has the ultra wideband U1 chip, dual-core processor, blood oxygen sensor, and more.

This is still a decent deal for GPS+LTE, but I would personally wait for a series 6 deal.

Used to be all up in on these watches. Starting from the 1st. Finally sick and tired of a square face. Picked a good deal on a Fossil just for the basics. If t hey ever get around to a normal watch face, I may jump back into the waters.

Price Matched to Best Buy....I got the red 6 last week and it's kinda nice but it's the smaller one and I think I'd rather go with the 44mm. Debating on whether it's worth keeping 6 in smaller or returning and just going with this version.

Just to add some points to argue the other way:

5 still has always on display (SE does not). I don't really need the brighter screen since I'm always indoors (sadly)
6 does add blood oxygen level measuring but I've read it's not that accurate and a cheap oximeter works better.
