I had same rack/bench set for 8 years (gold's gym branded). Standard 7 ft bar works, I got a 310lb Olympic weight (or somewhere around that number) set when I got the rack/bench.

You can squat with it, supports adjust up and down with screw through bolts in about 1" increments, so you can set them at your comfortable height level to unrack the weight. It takes under 30 seconds to adjust both sides.

Dicks sports or Academy sports have 300lbs olympic weight and barbell sets for $300. This is going to be the best deal out there. Not really hard to find stock now. I know you only said you could 200lb but you want some room to grow and also have different weight combinations for different exercises.

Previously bought this rack only. Trying to find the bench only now. Or maybe the Weider XRS 20.

These were tough to even find in stock a few months ago.

How long would it take if you had 300lb on there?

Bench's, squat stands, racks, barbells etc. were never hard to find. Especially if buying straight from companies like Rogue, Rep or Titan. Weights were the hard part.

Probably about 30 seconds plus exactly as long as it takes to unload 300lb on literally any other rack

(which is to say, 1-2 mins depending on your strength and where you need to move the weights, double that if you need to take the bar off, change the rack height, and reload 300lbs)

Some racks you can have both bars for squat and benching at the same time I believe.

I mean, ok, but you're talking two Olympic bars, a power rack (likely), and two 300-lb set of weights to be able to have two fully-loaded bars accessible immediately. That's like a $1500 difference, and an unfair dig at this style of rack. Any comparable rack will take the exact same amount of time to unload weights, and even an $800 power rack will as well unless you have two bars and weights to spare.

I had this style rack, you can put a bar on the "safeties" and bench assuming your bench is low enough while the uprights are to the height where you can squat, with a bar on that also at the same time. Albeit kinda scary lol.. But doable

Thanks I ordered it after done lot of research and this looks decent enough. I checked the price with similar specs and reviews didn't see anywhere below $200.

This or the Weider XRS 20? They both look very similar but this one has less reviews.
