If you are taking off trim, this thing is awesome! If you demolishing stuff, crowbar is fine.

Using a wide metal Putty blade, was best for removing trim for me.

It was lightning fast and it was also much Cheaper!

Depends on the install method. This could come in handy, but you won't know what you're dealing with until you cut into the carpet
