How does this compare to Pit Boss (a little cheaper, I know, but is it better quality than Pit Boss?)

These are way better quality that pitboss (though pitboss aren't bad, I use them too in a pinch). Lumberjack has no fillers, it's 100% what it says it is.

Great deal, I'm paying $20 for 40lbs locally, which I thought was decent. I haven't tried all of the pellet brands, but this is my favorite so far. Cherry and the pecan blend are terrific. Pit boss is my favorite pellet available from big box stores, $15/40# at Lowes.

As another poster mentioned, Lumberjack is premium. I too use Pit Boss, but Lumberjack is significantly better than anything else I've tried. Very rare to find it this low, but Bomgaar's are found in few regions so take advantage if you have one near.
