Milwaukee makes some of the best power tools. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for their pliers.

I disagree, their pliers are great. Heavy duty but great - the electricians pliers are a lot heftier and overkill compared to your normal Kleins - but I've had no issues with their pliers, clamps, or other hand tools.

I can't question about the electrician pliers, but the other are terrible to at most mediocore. Tounge and groove is the worst out of this batch, too much flex at the handle, not alot of bite, just another overpriced Chinese made branded milwaukee. Spend a little more and get something better quality.

I couldn't agree more. People who buy hand tools from power tool manufacturers are just asking for Chinese trash.

I like the screwdrivers. Lol. Have not made it to pliers but was looking at the clamps. Knipex right now have been tough to get o a decent deal thanks to import issues. I ordered a set of cobras. Waited 3 months and just canceled because it took too long. Who do you recommend in this price range?

you aren't going to find much that isn't Made in China that will give you 4 really good pliers for $50. Other people saying "spend a little more and get something better quality", I mean each Knipex item to match this set is going to be $25+ so what you really mean is "spend double to get something thats a bit better".

I have lots of Knipex and lots of Milwaukee pliers and they all work just fine, and I beat the hell out of them unlike some of the tool collectors here on Slickdeals who just keep their tools in a drawer so they can post pictures of them on their Instagram story.

This is a fine deal if you are upgrading from Tekton or hardware store branded pliers but if you're comparing this to Knipex, you're looking at spending double, so....
