My apologies!! As big a fan of Costco, I have always stuck with buying big purchases from them. But, I truly believe the All state Costco insurance is absolutely useless since it doesn't cover accidents. I got the Cx 4 months back and let me tell you Oled screens are lot more fragile then regular LEDs. Something hit the TV when moving and it got a tiny crack ( hardly 1mm). I had just completed 3 months and neither Costco nor LG were willing to help. Oled's don't even start once this happens, unlike LEDs. So if you have an option, I highly recommend you buy from Best Buy or anywhere else with 'Accident Protection'. That really is the best you can do for such a large investment. Because replacing the screen by yourself is more expensive that buying the TV itself.

Best Buy warranty covers burn in. But runs about 500 extra for tv this price and doesn't cover accidents.

Just bought this 2 days ago from Costco! Hopefully they will do a price match so I don't have to deal with doing a return and rebuy.

I only see that one online and saw it in store as well. Looks pretty good. 2499 including Allstate protection plan. Because so new I don't expect any good deals till Black Friday. IMO
Good call! I bought the A8H 65", and I love it. I don't game on it, buy my fiance and I watch all of TV shows and movies on it. It's a phenomenal set.

Did you check if the credit card you used had damage protection? Chase Sapphire Reservere for example has 120 days damage protection.

Burn in takes years to happen. I doubt the burn in warranty with come in handy within the 2-4 years. IMHO, It's accident protection that is more important with OLeds.

Not to mention, burn in is only for people who mostly watch a single channel with a symbol or subtitle in one place for long hours. That was never going to be an issue for me.

Do they give you a $100 Hulu code in email? If so, I could sell it if I wanted to, correct?
They do send it via email. And yes, you could try to sell it…not sure what it's going for. My best guess is in the vicinity of $85-$90, which is useful if you're not planning on using it.

You can also call your homeowners insurance company. Many off accidental damage protection on electronics. I pay $6 a month and it covers every electronic device in my house for accidental damage.

Won't that increase your premium?

Better to use Chase Sapphire Reserve or Costco Visa Card for this purchase?

Burn ins are thing of the past. Unless you watch cnn Fox News or other networks for hours in a row. IMO
