I requested Store Pickup and my order has been at my local store since Friday showing "Preparing Your Pickup" but not "Ready For Pickup". I'm wondering if they're holding it until they receive word of a resolution to the missing trim router.

I had a store pickup too. I was notified today and picked it up today. As expected the router was missing. The staff made a call to double check if there's another package coming. She double checked too at the back maybe another box was there. Nothing. I told her you have the router in stock. She called the manager and asked me to get the item. Here you go. All 3 tools together. All you have to do is deal with them nicely 🙂

And have you order set for instore pickup. Your experience is different since you only dealt with the store directly. The majority of us did ship to home which leaves us with remote customer service.

I did store pickup also. Went today to pick it up and it was only both the sanders. Also, when they checked it in, it said order complete. They did not offer to give me one from in store. She said that original pickup date at the store was the 20th, to wait until then and see if it comes in.

We'll see if it comes in.

When you go back and it's not there, I would ask them *politely* to give you a router in store. The product page was for three items and you paid for three items. Demand satisfaction.

I have worked in customer service for the last 28 years - to imply that people aren't getting resolution because they aren't being nice is wrong. I've been nothing but cordial and pleasant and the processes, the scripting, the hand-tying for resolution and the apparent foul-up of either the items and/or price in the combo is all stacking against people. Those that received their package earlier last week seemed to have better success than those later in the week. It should not have taken 6-7 attempts for them to fulfill the order completely or offer a gift card compensation for the missing item.

Been using the chat feature too. So far the customer service reps have not been useful. They either tell me to wait or they want me to go to the store and return the sanders. All I really needed was the router too

6 days, 6 potato associates later. I finally got an associate via Text that was helpful. Instead of asking me to wait additional days, he/she confirmed there would be no additional packages. Offered me a 69 dollar gift card to purchase the router separately. I asked to include CA sales tax so that I wouldn't be out money for HD's blunder. Associate happily obliged and I got my gift card emailed to me immediately.

Thank you DJ! for not being a potato! If you for some reason see this, you have been the only helpful HD associate I've come across in the past week.

Called them twice, first time they transferred me to Ryobi.....second time told me to wait until 5/20 for the router. First time chatting with them today and got offered $75 GC Smilie

Was also missing the router when it got delivered.

After 40min on the phone with them got a $70 gift cart. So thank you for the free sanders awesome deal!

it's a possibility, they did say if I don't get it by 20th call them for a refund. I wouldn't bet on it since they're giving out these GCs so they must know it's not coming.

Wow I made out , they had me order the router online and refund me the $73 then I check my email today they refunded me the whole order and gave me an additional $20 gift card for the issues , so if you have a 24-72 hour pending case call again you may get double
