Anyone having concerns, just don't buy. Preheat your grill, get a red or white onion, cut it in half, scrape the grill with some gusto. Boom!!! Clean grill, ready and seasoned for the meats.
I tried bunch of other "alphabet soup" no-brand Chinese junk s9milar brushes. They all work the same way. The Britney break, the handles split in 2, and the brush neck bends with the lightest push. I bought them from AWD before for $3-5 a pop and they not even worth a dollar. Looks like this is a shill post and needs to be treated as such
I have never had a problem with wired brush. grilling for over 25yrs. As long you replace your wire brush when they fray and keep any eye on your grate.
An alternative for those who want to stay away from a grill brush with bristles - $5.66 for the bristleless grill scraper with handle, lowest price on CCC.
Queue the, "ZOMG wire bristles can break off and get lodged in your stomach!" comments.
It is a valid concern, though.
Ive been told by a doctor that its actually NOT an uncommon problem. Takes detective work and imaging to figure it out (if they ever do). I would def choose bigger bristles so you can not miss them if they do dislodge.
Oh really? Onions are cultivated and used around the world. As a food item, they are usually served cooked, as a vegetable or part of a prepared savoury dish, but can also be eaten raw or used to make pickles or chutneys. They are pungent when chopped and contain certain chemical substances which may irritate the eyes.

This is the way. Mexicans have done it this way forever, carne asada comes out so good
I use a large wood handle metal bristle brush. The bristles are so big and thick that you won't accidentally eat one. The bristles do rust though but they only cost a buck or two at harbor freight.
