Gosh... I need more coffee today. Lots of coffee.
Been like "why do we need heaters for desktops?! Wasn't people talking 'bout overheating and problems with cooling lately?!"
Obviously, you can sit on floor, but at 1500 watts, or about 5,000 btu, might be great to warm up bathroom before shower.... or wait until next winter and pay retail.

Do people really use these for that purpose? Why? Isn't the showerhead hot water enough heat once you step in? And after the shower, doesn't the steam warm up the entire bathroom?

Some prefer it a little warmer in the middle of winter when it is -20 below outside. Lots of people still prefer a soaking bath over a shower, while women doing their hair and makeup need to see the mirror that is not steamed up from the shower.

This heater is not made for a bathroom
Millions of homes have and still use electric heaters in bathrooms in just the USA.
