Decent. HF had a similar one for $999 but that was several years ago and per 25% tariffs.

As I posted in the last QJ thread:

FYI, New QuickJack models are coming with three inches more lift and three lift heights instead of two. They may be available in the summer. No commitment from the company on a date or prices.

Also, measure the distance between the jacking points on your car or truck before purchasing. Many have longer wheelbases and corresponding further distances between the jacking points. This includes cars you might not think of like the current Honda Civic/Insight. QJ has EXT models for these and even an XLT model for cars with extremely long wheelbases.

I haven't seen Costco offer the longer models.

If your car is under the limit of 5000 lbs for the 5000 models, watch the 5000 series lift 15,000 lbs: (a special hydraulic unit is used in the video).

You can usually find the weight of your car by googling for "<year> <brand> <model> curb weight", example "2020 Honda Insight curb weight".

Definitely don't want to continue the new model discussion,

Looking to pick this up but wanted to know from owners,
you guys also use jack stands in combination with the quickjack? Lots of differing info on other forums.

Thx!

From the manual:
"You must always use auxiliary safety stands under the Vehicle while elevated on both QuickJack Frames."

Hey Jeff, thanks I read that. Thats kind of a tricky point, with these going on side it really limits clearance for additional jacks. I can only think of center and rear differential jack points

It's just a liability statement for them.

I'd just stick the jackstands in between the top and bottom of the QJ.

Yep, not a whole lot of places to put jack stands that the Quickjack doesn't already occupy.

Just did a prop shaft and differential in a Subaru the other day and a Quickjack would have been horrible to try to work around. But with a nice high lift jack and good jackstands, it was pretty quick to raise and there was plenty of room to slide under from the sides.

I think where the Quickjack really shines is wheel rotations and brake jobs, maybe some suspension work if you don't need to go underneath.
