Lol what. Stick to your oly lifts. You want a raised heel for squats because nearly every individual won't have the ankle flexion to get the proper depth. It's really rare for me to see someone get proper squat depth and angles wearing chuck taylors.

Squatting in a 3/4"-1" heels is beneficial to most lifters because of their usual ankle inflexibility.

How can you be an Oly lifter and not understand the mechanics of weightlifting shoes (in relation to the upright catch position of a clean or snatch)? It's the same exact mechanics of why one would want that leverage in a squat. Because, you know, a squat - clean - and snatch all require a squat.

IMO these types of shoes aren't very good at anything. If you want to run, get some nice running shoes. There are also nice shoes for squat and deadlift. I know thats not the best for the budget, but its worth it if you are serious. These all purpose workout shoes arent very good.

Squat - Adidas powerlift 4
Deadlift - Sabo deadlift shoes
Running shoes - plenty of good ones. Look up reviews for the type you like. r/RunningShoeGeeks has good recommendations as well.

How swishy is the sole on this compared to Ultraboost? Just as comfortable? The UB shoes are too narrow for me, my feet goes numb are wearing them for a few hours.

That's interesting advice. I trained under Dr. Kyle Pierce and participated in some junior Olympics competitions and the shoes he recommended and then were later provided had a 1 inch elevated wooden heel.

NIKE wear out so quick!!! I will never buy again!!! they know the soles feel great at first but break down in 2 months. It is a sale ploy to get you to buy them. I hate buying them when you need new ones so quick. They do not last long at all! Please beware almost all Nike's!
