Nope. By having/saving the product key, I just used it on my new desktop & new laptop about 5 months ago. Both show lifetime with no expiration date.
Still using my lifetime subs. Wish they came back. Great software.

Nice deal. I purchased two so I am covered for the next two years. My current subscription doesn't end until August so I'll be ready to use one. Thanks.

I first read it as 1 device/5 years. Sadly no, that would have been worth it.

Its a decent software that's worth supporting but I can't imagine many need it on 5 devices.

No comment yet on how people have a live time license. Wow. That being said only thing I don't like is they don't stack. I never can get it to stack. If I buy it now I have to leave it somewhere where I won't forget about it when I'm due in December. Just got the bitdefender deal now that stacked i'm good until 2024 on that.

FWIW, with two kids attending online school and both adults working from home, we got some 'cheap' laptops from Costco early in the pandemic lockdown... so I ended up needing 1 more device than the 3 device licenses I had previously purchased.... this would've been cheaper than using two of those 3 device licenses last year. FWIW, I email the codes back to myself and put them in a "gift card codes" folder, then I just delete the emails as I redeem them.

So they don't expire I could buy 2 and use them 2 years apart.

too expensive for what it is. As someone stated Defender is free. Funny thing is the other day my kid got ransomware/trojan off a site that was advertising trig practice exams. Windows defender found it but Malwarebytes didnt. I have corporate malwarebytes that has more features than what OP lists. Do what you wish but it's a waste of money imo
