I don't know much about drills and other brands, how's this drill compared to the likes of Dewalt, Milwaukee, etc.?

I'm not familiar with this drill but it is a 20v, which is stronger than all of the 18v models out there. This usually means it can muscle through more and not get stuck as much as a lower volt drill.

I don't own that drill, but I'm 99.9% sure it's not brushless even though the details section says it is.

You are right. Specs on the Craftsman website state not brushless:

18v is effectively the same as 20v for power tools.

True. It's just marketing. They aren't allowed to use the "20 volt max" marketing gimmick in Europe I believe it is.

Lowes site is saying not brushless on the spec list as well.
