I was just browsing the Samsung site and noticed that they are selling Verizon 5G kit for just $0.01. I was able to add & order them for free using 2 points of Samsung Rewards. However, I don't know what exactly is it but for 2 points, I don't mind it.

As for alerting it really depends how they programmed the alerts.
But for sure 1000 people ordering 1 item per order will be treated as order volume spike. Nothing major, especially on this kind of site with so many users and order volume.

On the other side, ordering 1000 pieces of the same thing pretty much guarantees alert, because this is extremely unusual.

So yes, MONEY wise you and up with $10 either way. ALERT wise two situations are totally different.
