At this quality you are better off buying the batteries at harbor freight. they are cheaper than these too!

These are good for kids toys where they get used for a few days then neglected for months. I wouldn't use them for anything to rely on like smart sensors or smoke alarms.

No. This is SD. We want to save every penny. $8 can be a deal breaker for some deals. Don't want to wizz away $8 on crappy products. Yes all products have negative reviews but some have valid negative reviews. The negative is earned. The volume of negative reviews should cause you to really consider your purchase.
Also don't want to support "shiit" products or companies.

some wiring models do not require battery installed to function. he could have them running without any "backup" battery. they can still detect smoke but not during power outage.


mine is dead (disabled) once i removed the "backup" battery and it's 100% wired.

what negative reviews are we talking about here? i have read through almost 10 pages of the "most recents" reviews and they are back to 2 years old. i dont see any negative reviews or anything i should concern on this brand.

The HF "Heavy Duty" are terrible, but I have had good luck with HF 9V alkaline. Of course they cost more, but seem similar to big name brand batteries.

You'll notice there are 3 or 4 posters in addition to the OP who try to push/market a product to you.

Be weary of the comments from posters that keep on promoting how good a product is. I understand for the manufacturer its a cheap way to access buyers. But they are shilling a CHEAP QUALITY PRODUCT.

Wonder why Mods don't catch this scam more often. Hope read this and review these type of listings and affiliated postings.

Nanfu Battery is a leading alkaline battery manufacturer and supplier in China, they have solid product... I was using their alkaline all the time when I was living in China.
